Graham Bruce Richards

Figures in the landscape, acrylic using a limited colour palette, often with the addition of goldleaf.
Graham Bruce Richards has been a professional artist since 2004. He has had many successful solo and joint exhibitions throughout Scotland, in Edinburgh, Dumfries, Helensburgh, Inverness, Kirkcudbright and on the Isle of Mull. Recent achievements: ‘‘Bruce” has been selected for The Scottish Portrait awards 2019 exhibition. “Child’s Play” was selected for the 2018 Columbia Threadneedle figurative art prize in London. Graham’s paintings have their own recognisable style, in acrylic using a limited colour palette, often with the addition of gold, silver or copper leaf for an added dimension. Graham and his wife Sally have recently collaborated on their first book called Who do I belong with. Amber, a young hare, has been separated from her family. In her search to be reunited, she encounters wondrous wild creatures and learns some lessons in survival. The book is beautifully illustrated with twelve enchanting plates by Sally and written by Graham. See website for more details.
